HERE'S YOUR SUCKY UPDATE 2003-06-24 | 6:32 p.m. I don't work well under pressure. I have a demand resistant personality. I like to keep people at arms length. Even so I will tell you about my weekend. Well mainly my saturday. I went to work at a make up trade show in Pasadena. I worked with the MAC team and a woman named Sharon Gault. All was awesome. My friends and I did great hair and the models were not horrible. The best part is that I stood next to and breathed the same air as DAVID LACHAPELLE!!! I really hate when people get all gushy over fame and usually I make fun of idol worship but in this case I was like a little school girl. It turns out Sharon is friends with Mr. Lachapelle and asked him to come introduce the show which he did. Fuck. I couldn't believe it. I praise his work like nobody elses. Well okay that's not true I praise some others highly but he's right up there and I am a dumb fuck because when he walked in back stage I looked at him and immediatly looked at the ground. I should have told him that he is a wonderful artist and he inspires me. I should have told him that it was an honor to meet him. I should have told him that we will soon work together and he better get used to me being around. I instead said nothing and went unnoticed. I am lame. I should be punished. So the show was fun and it will look good on my resume but I still failed. Love, The Photography Groupie
