SHE USED TO JUST STAND THERE AND STARE 2003-04-01 | 2:26 a.m. Okay I just read Melanies diary and now my buzz has completly worn off but I'll still tell you about tonight. I went to LA to see an old friend and we had a great time. Tried to get into a comedy show to no avail. Saw Gary Shandling. Went to The Dresdin for bad lounge singing. Ate french onion soup. Went to Spaceland and saw possibly the raddest performance ever consisting of one DJ and computer and two dancers, one male one female. The male dancer put a speaker on his head and the female squatted on it as part of their dance. The music was very similar to Adult or Ladytron but a bit faster. All friends hated it and I basked in the glow of electopop freak show. Went to the Roost and saw a lady from E.R.. Chatted with friends and drank beer. It was great to get out of Orange County. I'm going back tommorow night to (hopefully) see David Cross at a club. Keep all fingers crossed. I have no April fools crulety to tease you with.
